AVARTAR
AVATAR takes us to a spectacular world beyond imagination, where a reluctant hero embarks on an epic adventure, ultimately fighting to save the alien world he has learned to call home. James Cameron, the Oscar-winning director of “Titanic,” first conceived the film 15 years ago, when the means to realize his vision did not exist yet. Now, after four years of production, AVATAR, a live action film with a new generation of special effects, delivers a fully immersive cinematic experience of a new kind, where the revolutionary technology invented to make the film disappears into the emotion of the characters and the sweep of the story. (thanks to cinema.com for the info)
Miss Davis says: I heard someone on the radio the other day call this movie an elaborate take on the Pocohontas story, and I would have to agree. As predictable as I found the story line, I thoroughly enjoyed this film. The visual beauty of the film and the mystical creatures throughout it keep you intrigued, which makes this nearly 3 hour film worth every minute of seeing.
THE WIZARD OF OZ
In this charming film based on the popular L.Frank Baum stories, Dorothy and her dog Toto are caught in a tornado’s path and somehow end up in the land of Oz. Here she meets some memorable friends and foes in her journey to meet the Wizard of Oz who everyone says can help her return home and possibly grant her new friends their goals of a brain, heart and courage. (Thankyou to imbd.com for the info.)
Miss Davis says: This film is an oldie…… but a goodie. Who dosnt love the classic story of Dorothy and the magical characters she becomes friends with on her journey through Oz? Well that could possibly be my nearly 5 year old son with whom I watched this with recently. As the film finshed he remarked that “the old man was mean ” and that “that film was a bit of a strange one wasn’t it mum?”
Now I absolutely love this film and have watched it many times over, which I have to say I can’t do with many films, and really it is a childs fable….. isn’t it? However, after watching this with a child….. I’m beginning to think the whole dream sequence scenario was a little hard for him to understand…… maybe we should stick to cartoon movies for a little while longer!
CRANK 2 – HIGH VOLTAGE
In this high-octane sequel, hitman Chev Chelios’ (Statham) launches himself on an electrifying chase through Los Angeles in pursuit of the Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart. CRANK: HIGH VOLTAGE is written and directed by Neveldine/Taylor, the duo behind the 2006 hit film CRANK, and the upcoming GAME starring Gerard Butler. (Thankyou to cinema.com for the info.)
Miss Davis says: This has to be one of the worst films I have seen in a long time. High Voltage is an understatement…. If you enjoy watching a person jumpstart themselves by placing jumper leads on their tongue and nipples or by wearing an electrified dog color, then maybe this is your type of movie. Not only that, but the bucking bull ride that the characters display at the race track, is definitely not to everyones taste and could easily be classified as really bad B grade porn. This movie is not for the light hearted!
So this is our first real video, edited by me and we talk about the up coming SNEAKER FIENDS UNITE sneaker hunt, i really enjoyed making and editing this video so i will def be doing more….cheers peeps!

The film has been in development since the mid 1990s, going through a number of writers and story ideas, and being put on hold a number of times. Producer Stephen J. Cannell hoped to update the setting, perhaps using the first Gulf War as part of the backstory. John Singleton was initially assigned to direct, but in October 2008 he pulled out of the project. When Singleton was still attached to the project as director, Ice Cube was approached for the role of B.A. Baracus.
In June 2009, Variety revealed that Liam Neeson was in negotiations with 20th Century Fox to star as Hannibal Smith, and Bradley Cooper has announced to MTV News that he will be playing the role of Templeton Peck after he first denied the rumors saying that he was involved and insisted that he had not seen any script.
On August 26, 2009, MMAjunkie.com reported that mixed martial arts fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson would play the role of B.A. Baracus in the upcoming film, but this was later denied by a representative for Jackson. In September 2009, The Vancouver Sun suggested that Jackson has been attached to the role and was postponing his fight at UFC 107 with Rashad Evans due to filming for The A-Team. Filming started in Vancouver in late 2009, and Jacksons’ involvement has since been confirmed.
On September 15, 2009, Variety confirmed the casting of Neeson, Cooper and Jackson. They additionally reported that Sharlto Copley and Jessica Biel were in final negotiations to join the cast. Copley would be playing the role of H.M. Murdock and Biel would be playing the ex-lover of Face who is an Army officer in charge of pursuing the team. 20th Century Fox later confirmed that Copley and Biel were cast in the film.
On September 30, 2009, a silver-haired Liam Neeson and the rest of the cast were seen filming scenes in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, as shooting got under way. The first official pictures of Neeson, Cooper, Copley and Jackson in character were soon released, including one which features the iconic van in the background.
On December 1, 2009, it was announced that Alan Silvestri will compose the film score.
The film’s first trailer was released January 8, 2010.
HOPE YOU LIKED IT…..
